PERSONAL BACKGROUND
I grew up in West Hartford, CT and I currently live in Downtown Hartford and have been here for just about 6 years. Although I'm sure the suburbs will call me back at some point, living in a small city has been an incredible experience and provided multiple personal and professional opportunities for me.I've always been an active person, playing sports, riding horses and spending time outdoors continues
to be a source of incredible joy for me. I also tend to devour books and spend a lot of free time being crafty and DIYing my way though weekends. A new found love for Barre has
STARTED FROM THE BOTTOM
Around 6 years ago, I fell in love with a fashion blog and immediately wanted in on the blogging scene. I started my first blog which was a "fashion blog" as well. I put it in quotes because I did not have the money, style or, truthfully, the personality for it. Although that was short lived, I had caught the blogger bug and soon after started a lifestyle blog called Dog Hair Is An Accessory. It was much more "me" and I submerged myself in the blogging world.Through blogging, I taught myself HTML and honed my graphic design skills. I got a job in marketing and branched out from just blog design to website and email design. All the different aspects of digital marketing I've been involved with have made me more hungry to learn more, try new things and learn everything I can about the other avenues I could potentially add to what I do now.
Trying new things and having new experiences are two things I thrive on and I welcome any chance to step out of my comfort zone. I tend to move confidently in the direction I feel is the right one and although I do my best to be successful at all the things I do, I'm not afraid to fail. Mistakes are a valuable opportunity to realize how things could have gone better to improve next time.
Thank you for taking the time to come check out my little corner of the internet.
